HOW WELL DO YOU KNOW YOUR HOLIDAY MUSIC?
CLICK HERE TO FIND OUTSanta’s Carolling Choir
Nothing keeps elves in the holiday spirit quite like a Christmas carol. Our carolling choir plays a significant role in creating and maintaining workplace morale here in the North Pole. If you think you have what it takes to be in our choir, send your resume to Northern Post Careers, LLC today.

Job Description:
Our choir visits different areas of Santa’s operation daily to provide our hardworking toymakers, chocolatiers, weather watchers, gingerbread homebuilders, administrative workers, and wrapping teams with ongoing holiday cheer throughout the year.
While singing carols to fellow elves may seem like a dream job, it’s not as easy as it’s cracked up to be. Our choir members must learn the nearly 600 songs that exist in Santa’s official carolling repertoire. Carollers are required to be pitch-perfect at all times, as not to throw off the many operations with which we share our musical gift.
In addition to singing cheery tunes to various elf workshops, the carolling team will also work on polishing up specialty Christmas numbers that will be sung in celebration on Christmas eve.
Responsibilities:
- Singing (25 hours a day)
- Chanting
- Humming
- Whistling
- Skipping
- Memorizing 600+ song lyrics
Requirements:
- 105 years’ experience in elvish choirs
- Must know Frosty the Snowman, Walking in a Winter Wonderland, and Jingle Bells
- Must be able to skip and sing
Auditions:
Unlike various other positions advertised in the North Pole, applying for a spot on our carolling choir will require a series of auditions. Open auditions will take place in the Tinsel Theatre every Tuesday and Thursday evening at ten o’clock sharp. Please prepare a 6-minute ballad that shows off your vocal range. Please note that “Baby it’s Cold Outside” is banned at the North Pole.
Each candidate should also be prepared to answer a series of questions relating to the history of Christmas music and the importance of holiday cheer in relation to toy-making and other elf activities.
Benefits:
Carollers that show promise and dedication to their craft could be offered opportunities to work in our local radio station, play productions, or have the great honour of accompanying Santa into human communities on the lead-up to Christmas.
