All throughout the year, children around the world work hard to be on their best behaviour in hopes of receiving a present from Santa Claus. The ideal candidate for our Naughty or Nice division will have a background in moral philosophy or possess a law degree. We expect you to have an in-depth understanding of what is right and wrong, not just in your own culture but worldwide. You will be responsible for carefully assessing each child’s morality through the lens of their society as well as the international system of ethics implemented by Santa.

Make a List – Check It Twice

With so many children expecting a visit from Santa Claus every year, it is important to make sure that none of them are overlooked. Whether they will be getting the Red Ryder BB Gun that they asked for or the lump of coal they deserve, you will be tasked with making sure that the big man receives a comprehensive and up-to-date list on Christmas Eve.

Dealing with Grey Areas

Telling right from wrong isn’t always as clear as it should be. Keeping that in mind, you will be expected to cast judgment in tricky cases such as these and come to a verdict on the child’s morality. You will be responsible for weighing each kid’s good deeds against their bad ones and then placing them on the appropriate list during the holiday season.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to Santa’s Naughty or Nice Determination Manuel
• Protect the list from forgery
• Inspect fraudulent claims (naughty and nice)
• Update the list throughout the year
• Conduct seasonal audits
• Check the list twice (especially before Christmas)

Requirements:

• Degree in moral philosophy or law (or relevant experience in ethics)
• In-depth understanding of right and wrong
• Proficient in spelling and grammar
• Fluent in 6,500 languages
