Find Your Place on Santa’s Pit Crew

We here at Northern Post Careers, LLC are always on the lookout for skilled and enthusiastic sled mechanics. We work diligently all year long to ensure that every Christmas is more successful than the last.

If you become a member of our crew, you can expect steady work throughout the year as we tune-up Santa’s classic steel body sled and make sure it is ready for the big night. Additionally, once Christmas Eve arrives, you will be expected to be on call all night long to provide any emergency repair work that comes up.

It takes a lot more than magic to make Christmas night a success. In order to keep up with the rising population of children in the world, Santa’s workshop has taken it upon themselves to continually improve on existing sled technology. If you get excited at the thought of working with high reindeer-power vehicles or are well-versed in GPS tracking, we would love to have you as a member of our dedicated team of mechanics.

Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative sled technology
• Map out fastest routes based on the Naughty or Nice List
• Look after reindeer
• Sled assembly and testing
• Install safety apparatus (for Santa and gifts)
• Repair defective parts
• Track Santa via GPS

Requirements:

• 128 years’ experience
• Ability to work in a fast-pace environment
• Detail-oriented
• Capable of meeting deadlines
• Basic welding and carpentry skills
• Fluent in English, Dwarvish, Elvish, and Reindeerian
